I spy with my little eye … SMILES!
At Y.A.H.O.O. we connect the youth of our community with residents who have made Sterling their home for decades, or even generations. Our volunteers work in teams to make yards clean and flower beds tidy. We also make sure to engage with homeowners, strike up conversations, and inquire how they are doing. The lifting of spirits is always a shared experience – homeowners as beneficiaries of a neatened yard, and volunteers rewarded with the warmth of contribution.
